Three Town and
Country football squads stormed into the TBYFL
Super Bowl for a second year in a row, but sadly
only one came away with the victory. CLICK HERE
to see results. The Varsity and Supers squads lost
in close nail biting games with both teams loosing
6-0. The Midgets faced their regular season
nemesis Dolphin team, and quickly overwhelmed them
with both a defensive and offensive display that
kept the Dolphins almost permanently in their own
half for the game! Back to back Super Bowl
victories is now the legacy of Coach Chuck and his
staff!
Nonetheless, the
Town and Country Packers squad
deliver another power packed season for a second year running with a
record showing of 3 of the 4 teams in the
Super Bowl....GO PACKERS!

The Town and Country Packers Youth Football and Cheerleading
league is a non-profit organization that participates in the
Tampa Bay Youth Football League. The T-N-C Packers are operated
by a team of dedicated volunteers that coordinate the football
and cheerleading activities of over 250 young men and women
between the ages of 5-14.
The Cheerleading and Football squads of the Packers have been
competing in the Tampa Bay area since 1968. Our mission is to
provide excellent sporting activities for our football players
and cheerleaders with the ultimate goal of developing each
youngster into quality individuals who will be contributors to
their community as well as the world in general.
The Packers are both recreational and competitive in nature.
However, the primary focus of our organization is to
provide an environment by which these young men and women can
benefit from the social development that they receive throughout
the season. They will learn the joy of success, the importance of
loosing with dignity and courage, and at the same time learn the
art of being a part of a larger team, thereby achieving an
overall goal and not just an individual one.
The T-N-C Packers are overseen by a Board of Directors made up
of elected officials from inside and out of the organization.
Those who serve on the Board of Directors, the football and
cheerleading coaches and the general operations assistants are not
compensated for their efforts other than the joy of being part of
a team. We are always looking for additional volunteers and would
be delighted to talk with anyone expressing an interest in our
organization. Welcome to our website and if you have any questions,
please click on the Board of Directors button and we will respond to
your request.
The Packers make TBYFL history
by taking home 3 Super Bowl Division Championships
in 2006 - The Packers took three of their four division teams
into the TBYFL Super Bowl championship round at Skyway
in 2006 and
ended the day with a clean sweep! The Pee Wees
beat the Raiders by 18-0, followed by the Packer
Supers squad playing in a repeat clash of last
year's second
round playoff game knocking off the highly rated
Westchase Colts by 6-0 with a terrific Justin Conway
touch down run. Finally to end the
Packers impressive day the Midget squad stopped a charged Colts Midget team
with a 7-0 score from Running Back Rodney Mills, in a game
that went right down to the final seconds.

Dear Sandy...I played for the TNC Packers 36 years

started on your fields and was shaped by men
such as yourself who dedicated themselves to youth
sports and a passion for the game. Thank you for
